About Band Quest 2012

Band Quest 2012 is all about going large!! We want to offer a service which rewards bands just for taking part. This is a 'Platform' - a resource and service base to help further bands ambitions and stage better events by concentrating the more concerning bands efforts. If you want better shows you are in the right place - read on!Avenge Thee - photo by Martin Hobby Photography at Bloodstock

3 years of Band Quest prior to 2011 has seen a multi faceted spectrum of ideas, events, prizes, and band friendly deals planted on the door step of all local and developing bands (See our successes page for examples). Some of our shows are built around bands who can help get the numbers up whilst other benefit from playing the same nights and we feel those strong bands should get a little something extra for doing so, whilst other are offered the same services, they may need to buy into the service but no added service is compulsory.

Questioning what any band might want or need is a mine field, however, finding ways of adding to events and experiences is our forte. We want an event process where EVERY event counts toward a brighter future, a rolling showcase, a benefit driven system where effort is rewarded and common sense is displayed to get the best out of every show.

We are moving into new and different towns, bringing the services close to bands geographic heartlands. We don't like to see bands traipse across the country to be able to get a good gig so lets bring the good gigs to your door.

We need ONLY bands that give a sh*T. We've had enough of those who think THEY are more important. This is a great leveller and one which offers respect to the harder working bands and those with a nose for success.

SO you have seen how hard it is to get a crowd in, keep 'em interested and have other bands help the local scene develop - this is ONE way that CAN make a difference. We want it to be better than ever. DO YOU?

You may wish to look over the benefits page to work out if this is for you but we want one question answered. Are there ANY other promoters trying to offer more? We'd love to know who they are if so.
