All recording deals are subject to the agreement to feature on the up n coming compilation Cd's. All deals are subject to availability and extra time can be negotiated with the studio. Please notify us if you are booked into the studio under any of these deals. All offers are subject to change and approval by the provider.
Studios Offering Benefits
The Deals are there to give you an option to place a mastered track onto the Compilation CD's which are being made for an assault on the alternative world in 2010. We are looking for 20 4min tracks from the bands within this year's band quest to promote their sounds.
Analogue Barn (Meopham, Kent)
Offer: Cost - £150 For 5 Hours (4h Recording + 1h Mixing) in The Best equipped studio in Kent.

Offer: A days Recording and mixing for £119.99, The track won't leave until its of a high standard!
Special Rates for Band Quest Bands: Weekend Deal for Band Quest bands 5h for £35rehearsal time.
About: Newly purpose built premises in Dartford.
Music Tek Studio (Dagenham, Essex)
Offer: Record 1 song for £100 for inclusion on the compilation CD's.
Special Rates for Band Quest Bands: Daytime rehearsal - Week days between 10am and 6pm - £30 per 4 hours.
About: Newly built Studio in Dagenham.
Escape Route Studios (Grays, Essex)
Offer: I will charge bands that want to record a track for your compilation CD I will charge £130 for an 8 hour day to record one song. This includes tracking, mixing and mastering and use of all the equipment in the studio (Amps, Drum Kit, etc). Some of the dates available are: Jan - 25th, 26th and 29th, Feb - 2nd through to 14th.

Video Shoots
Roger Blackman (Kent)
Offer: Live Shoot - For between £150 and £225 Roger and his team will Film the Band Quest Heat providing a min of 2 bands wish for this service, it will be multi camera and be edited fast to be produced as a 3 track DVD ready to replicate and promote.
Jon Cook (Dartford, Kent)
Offer: On Location - For £400 (normally £500) a band would receive a staged music video which could include minimal live coverage but would be mainly staged/choreographed at location/locations of their choice in the SE. Outside the SE the band would be liable for our travel costs.
Music Tek (Dagenham, Essex)
Offer: Studio Based Music Video - Discount £100 - Band action shot on our main stage at MusicTek, with all the flashy lights and smoke machine. Maybe even some special effects stuff. Will take no more than 1 day for the shoot and 2 to 3 days for the edit. Bands who enter Band Quest may purchase this for £500 (normally £600), on confirmation from Band Quest Organisers that they are a valid entry to the comp.

Darkstore
Offer: Throughout the spring and summer months Darkstore trades at small and major festivals including Hammerfest, Download, Sonisphere, Bloodstock. The store is offering a 100% (non commission/fee) and SOR on all items sold if '1x the item' is donated to prize pool or charity in order to help drive foot flow to the stall during trading times. We think a maximum of 5 units per item is enough and will ask for more if we sell all of any item. Bands will have their items returned at the point the deposit is repayable or anytime after that. i.e. if you wish us to sell a CD for £3 we will take it and sell it on the basis 1 copy is donated to the pool.
Magazine Cover CDs
Terrorizer
Offer: METAL track to be placed on the up and coming Terrorizer cover mount CD.
Special Rates for Band Quest Bands: Lowest rate ANYONE gets (friends, devil worshipers and satanists) is £470 inc VAT, BUT Band Quest bands can have a place for £411.25.
About: 30,000 units are printed and distributed to ALL buyers of the magazine. You get magazine inclusion, listing etc. All of Terrorizers industry partners are mailed a copy. They pick bands form the CD to appear at shows sponsored by Terrorizer. Band per CD on average has been signed as a direct result of the CD exposure. Readers vote to create winner and runner up of best bands who win prizes.

Band Quest Events
Offer: Musicians playing on the platform will gain entry at £1 less than the advertised rate, just ensure you have given you full name, email and mobile in advance.
About: The Platform was designed to take the edge out of BOTB and create a better showcasing experience and a cheaper way forward for gigging bands. We work on the behalf of bands that enter the platform to increase the energy from that band and accelerate their potential.
Ticket Incentives
INCENTIVE (1) for picking early dates. Each year we have done this bands do drop out and fail to even stay together. With this in mind if you take an early date and don't get through your heat, you WILL be offered on a first come first served basis a second chance to perform in the quest and further your involvement.
You will ALL receive 5 tickets per band member to sell for your shows (no obligation) but you can ask for more. These do not need to be paid for in advance but you are responsible for them and you must look after them. Advance tickets are to be sold at £3. Bands keep £1 per ticket and receipt back to us £2 per person. Tickets must be returned and fully paid up by 7pm each night or 90 mins before start of show time.
INCENTIVE (2) - This involves being added to the compilation CD for FREE. IF you sell twice as many tickets as you are initially allocated, we will place you on the promotional CD for no sign up fee, only the track cost will apply of between £1 and £20 which depends how close to the start of the CD you wish to be or where we place you (see details http://www.bandquestuk.com/services/)
INCENTIVE (3) - Anyone buying a ticket in advance will be entitled to entry into a draw for £10 bar tab (or Store voucher) so get your people buying in advance and everyone will end up having more fun.
INCENTIVE (4) - No Matter how you do on the night, there will be other ways of arriving in the final in the following ways a) Highest ticket sales (in heats or semi's) b) Highest Crowd Score, c) Highest Judges Score, d) Professional Score. All will gain places in the finals if they have not arrived there by events they have won.
